Wellness For All.

Doula For The People

A Doula is a non-medical professional, trained to support individuals through significant health related and or emotionally challenging life events. Doula For The People is a non-profit organization on a mission to make doula support and other wellness resources accessible to all. We work to connect community members of all backgrounds, to doula support, and educational content that promotes maternal health, female empowerment, and overall wellness. We also create community access to workshops, trainings, and enrichment opportunities focused on subjects like, farm to table nutrition, social justice, parenting & early childhood development, environmental stewardship, and mental health awareness.

Doula For The People has launched a 5 pillared Community Doula Care Program in an attempt to improve maternal health outcomes in underserved communities and lower the maternal mortality rate in The United States..

The First Pillar of the Community Doula Care Program is a catalogue of educational workshops and classes centered on perinatal health and infant care.

The Second Pillar is a multidimensional, in depth, and culturally diverse postpartum doula training program that prepares birth workers to offer quality care- that’s both holistic and respectful of traditional practices, as well as rooted in science and mindful of the most up to date research.

The Third Pillar is a Doula For The People postpartum doula network that connects community members with Doula For The People certified postpartum doulas.

The Fourth Pillar is The Foodie Doula delivery program, which connects community members with nutrient dense meals and specialty items that support perinatal health and wellness.

The Fifth Pillar is a outdoor community wellness center that works as a hub for all of Doula For The Peoples wellness programming and community outreach.
